We pay the business that referred you a referral fee when a job it referred is paid for. The fee is not added to your price. Your price before the 10% is worked out the same way, from the same rates, as for any customer without a code.
What you get.
10% off everything we charge for the job, before sales tax. That includes any charge for design work we price separately, prep, removal, add-ons and anything we pass through at cost, and any change to the job we re-quote in writing. Your written quote and your invoice show the price before the 10% and the referral discount taken off it. If your written quote shows another discount, the 10% comes off the price after that discount. Anything we include at no charge stays included.
A referral is not a dealer-program order. Being referred by a dealership does not make your vehicle one that a dealership on our dealer program sends us on its own order, so prep and every other charge is quoted to you as it would be without a code, and then the 10% comes off.
How to claim it.
Give us the code before you approve your written quote. Scan the card or open the link, and that browser normally keeps your code for thirty (30) days from the last time you open a referral link and sends it with any quote request or inquiry you send from it. If you open a different referral partner's link, the browser keeps that partner's code instead. You can also give us the code by phone, text, email or in person. If your written quote does not show the 10%, for example because you sent your request from another device or after the thirty (30) days, tell us before you approve that quote and we will re-issue it with the 10%. After you approve a quote, we cannot add a code to it.
One code per job.
A job can carry one referral code, and the first code we receive for the job is the one that counts.
Codes from an accounting firm.
If your code is from an accounting firm, we ask you, before you approve your written quote, whether that firm audits, reviews or compiles your financial statements; if it does, we take its code off, you keep the 10%, and the firm earns no fee on your job.
What the code covers.
The 10% applies to the job that started with the code, including later versions of that quote and more vehicles we quote from the same request. A later, separate job gets the 10% only if you give us a code for it too.
No cash value.
The 10% comes off what you pay us for the job. It has no cash value, and once applied to a job it cannot be exchanged for cash or credit or moved to another job.
Changes to the offer.
We may end the referral offer, or change it for codes we issue later, by posting the change here at least thirty (30) days before it takes effect. A code already printed on a card keeps the offer printed with it until the offer ends, and the 10% still applies to any job started with a code before that date. If a referral partner's code is retired, the 10% still applies to a job you start with it while the offer runs.
Your information.
Our Privacy Policy at fleetherald.com/privacy explains how we handle the code and what the referring business learns. In short, once an invoice for your job is paid in full, the business learns a reference number and the fee it earned, which tells it what you paid for the job, leaving out tax and some other charges. It never learns from us your name, your contact details or the details of your request. You do not need a code to work with us. If your request carries a code, you can ask us to take it off before you approve your written quote. You keep the 10%, and the business that referred you then earns no fee on your job and learns nothing about it.
Everything else.
Your written quote shows the referral discount under these terms, and these terms form part of that quote. Your job is otherwise governed by our Terms and Conditions at fleetherald.com/terms, our Artwork and cancellation policy at fleetherald.com/legal/artwork-and-cancellation, and your written quote. The referring business does not sell, price or perform our work, and it cannot make promises for us.
