From first proof to installation: how long a commercial wrap takes

We design, print and install commercial vehicle graphics and wraps in Canton, Ohio: lettering, partial and full wraps for work vehicles, fleets and dealerships. The install studio is in Canton Township, unincorporated Stark County.
What are the stages from quote to road?
From the quote to the road, the work runs in this order:
- The quote. We confirm scope and price within one business day.
- Your artwork and details. Send your logo, your contact details and anything you want on the vehicle.
- Your first proof.
- Up to three rounds of revisions.
- Your written approval. Nothing prints until you approve the proof in writing.
- Print and installation.
The first proof, and print and installation, each carry a published window. Each is set out below with the rule for when its clock starts.
Our production page lists what we need from you. For a leased vehicle, see our guide Wrapping a leased work vehicle: what to tell us and what happens at return.
How fast is the first proof?
You'll see your first proof within 72 hours of us receiving your artwork and details. When the clock starts: the 72 hours run from us receiving your artwork and details during shop hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and from the next business morning when they arrive after hours, not from first contact. We need all of it to start: print-ready artwork or a request for design help, your vehicle or fleet details, and your package choice. A delay on your side pauses the clock for as long as it lasts, and so does anything outside either of our control.
How many rounds of revisions are included?
Up to three rounds of revisions, at no design charge. That covers laying out your graphics, and the rounds that refine the proof. Creating a logo from nothing is separate work at a flat rate of $200, and a re-design that abandons the direction you approved rather than refining it is a flat rate of $100. Neither is charged on a fleet account or for a returning customer, and we confirm the price in writing before that work begins.
Our Artwork and cancellation policy defines a round: "A round is one consolidated set of change requests that we answer with a revised proof. Follow-up messages about the same set of changes belong to that same round and do not start a new one."
What counts as approving the proof?
Section 5 of our Artwork and cancellation policy reads: "Nothing prints until you approve the proof in writing. A written approval, including one sent by email, has the same effect as a signature under Ohio Rev. Code Chapter 1306. Approval is the point at which we commit materials to your job, so please read the proof closely. What you approve is what we print. A text message is not a written approval: if you text us about your proof, we ask you to approve it by email or on paper. If we revise the proof, we print the revised proof only after you approve it in writing."
How long do print and installation take?
Print and installation are complete within 14 days of your proof approval. When the clock starts: the 14 days run from your written proof approval, not from drop-off. A delay on your side pauses the clock for as long as it lasts, and so does anything outside either of our control.
Approved artwork goes to our design and print studio at 1103 Whipple Ave NW. Your vehicle comes to 3920 12th St NW and goes into a climate-controlled, air-filtered bay.
What can slow a job down?
Section 3 of our Terms and Conditions sets out what extends either window: "Section 12 and any delay you cause, such as artwork supplied late, a missed appointment, or a vehicle not made available for installation, extend these windows by the length of the delay. Nothing else does. We do not reserve a general exception for our own workload. If we expect to miss a stated window for a reason within our control, we will tell you before the window passes and propose a new date."
Section 12 of our Terms, Force majeure, reads: "Neither of us is responsible for a delay or failure caused by something outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, fire, flood, utility or network outage, labor disruption, material shortage, carrier delay, or government action. We will tell you promptly if one of these affects your project and give you a revised schedule."
How does a fleet stay on the road during the work?
Fleet installs are staged so the rest of the fleet stays on the road.
Our fleet graphics page puts rebrands this way: "Rebrands have launch dates. We schedule the fleet around yours and stage the work so the old look and the new one never share the road longer than they have to."
For a fleet, tell us how many vehicles, what they are and when you need them. We come back with a plan and a schedule. Request a fleet quote.
How do you get started?
Request a quote. Five short steps: your vehicle, the package, project details, artwork, and how to reach you.
Our commercial wrap packages and prices page sets out the three packages, and our guide What it costs to letter or wrap a work vehicle in Canton, Ohio sets out what changes the price.
